Laser Hair Removal Technicians

Our Certified Laser Hair Removal Technicians perform treatments with superior integrity given to our clients comfort and privacy.

Jennifer Kauffman Laser Hair Technician	Jennifer's role with the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology is delivering laser hair removal services. She brings a strong medical background to her position with us. Jennifer spent over ten years with a local hospital in the phlebotomy and histology departments. She received her registry in histology and also attended a medical assistant program. Jennifer is Candela certified and continues to pursue advanced training in the laser hair technician field.

Meg Garber Laser Hair Technician	Meg is a Certified Laser Hair Technician in our York office. She has 19 years experience as a medical assistant and was also an instructor with a local training institute where she taught medical assisting. She is currently pursuing her Associates of Science degree in nursing. This background along with her work experience at the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology ensures that Meg will provide a high level of experience and care to our clients.

Sarah Orendorff Laser Hair Technician	Sarah is a Certified Laser Hair Technician in our Gettysburg Dermatology office. She has 7 years experience with our dermatology and cosmetic practices. She continues to pursue advanced training in laser hair technology.

Aestheticians

Our staff of licensed aestheticians works closely with your dermatologist to formulate a customized plan of care. Because we recognize the individual needs of our patients, you can be assured that your plan of care will result in optimal improvement in the appearance of your skin.

Lana Green Aesthetician	Lana's areas of expertise are treating problem skin and anti-aging methodology. She is dovetailing these two specialties into aesthetic services for both the Gettysburg and York Dermatology offices. She holds her License in Aesthetics from York Technical Institute. Prior to joining us, Lana operated her own business, Le Belle Skin.

April Kauffman Aesthetician	April has been involved in aesthetics since the mid 1990's receiving her education from the Lancaster School of Cosmetology. She specializes in the treatment of acne, and other skin problems. She enjoys educating patients on the importance and proper use of skin care products, and has knowledge in the use of filler injections and facial laser treatments.

Jennifer Kauffman Aesthetician	Jennifer’s other role with the cosmetic center encompasses her true passion - the aesthetic field. She provides spray tanning for our clients as well as color match analysis and make up lessons. Jennifer attended the Lancaster School of Cosmetology and continues to update her knowledge of colors, trends, and techniques to share with her clients in helping them look their best.

Barbi Schmitt Aesthetician	As our tanning aesthetician, Barbi provides our clients with a safe, effective glow for special occasions, the holidays, and everyday life. Barbi has worked in the cosmetic dermatology field for over three years. She also has an extensive background in sales, marketing, and customer service in both the banking and retail jewelry arenas. Meg Garber Medical Assistant	Meg has 19 years of experience as a medical assistant and was also an instructor with a local training institute where she taught medical assisting. She is currently pursuing her Associates of Science degree in nursing. This background along with her work experience at the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology ensures that Meg will provide a high level of experience and care to our clients.

Sandra Schrum Medical Assistant	Sandra hails from the dental field prior to her position as a Medical Assistant at the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology. With over 38 years of experience as a Dental Hygienist, Sandi brings a high level of client care and medical expertise to her position. Additionally, she has five years of sales and client service in the retail arena.

Administrative Staff

Kim Kern Client Service	Welcoming you to the Cosmetic Center is Kim. She has over 30 years experience in customer service, administrative support, and retail sales which encompassed plant safety and human resources support at a local engineering firm as well as retail sales and customer service at several local family owned businesses. Kim's goal is to ensure each of our clients feels welcome at the center and has a positive experience. She is also well versed in all our product and service lines.

Vicki Danner	Vicki’s experience includes a strong background in the medical administrative field coupled with her successful entrepreneurial endeavors in managing her own interior design business. Her skills in organization, inventory management, problem solving, and client service are well suited to her responsibilities at the Center for Cosmetic Dermatology. Clients appreciate her efforts in providing them with support and service during their visit with us.

Jessica Speck	Jess had worked previously for Dermatology Associates in the accounting department before joining our staff here. She also provided financial and bookkeeping support for her husband’s business for many years. Her attention to detail and financial background is an asset to the cosmetic center. Jess enjoys her interactions with our clients and strives to provide the highest level of client care.

Holly Heishman	Holly has an extensive background in operations management, training and development, and administrative support. She worked at a regional physical therapy corporation, a York based commercial property management company, and for a regional residential real estate company prior to joining our staff. Holly brings a wealth of client service skills and organizational management to her position at the cosmetic center.

Kimberly Hackett	As the Manager and Marketing Coordinator, Kim oversees the operational and promotional aspects of the cosmetic center. She brings over twenty six years of marketing, sales, operations management, and client service to her position. Kim has also been involved in fundraising for many local nonprofits both as a volunteer and a staff member. BACK TO TOP
